COMPOSER | CONDUCTOR | SINGER
J.J. Hagelsieb is a Mexican composer, conductor, and singer specializing in music for film, video games, and live performance. He recently completed the Master of Fine Arts in Music for Motion Pictures and Contemporary Media at the Film Scoring Academy of Europe (FSAE) and holds a Professional Certificate in Composing and Orchestrating for Film and TV from Berklee Online, where he received the Steve Vai Scholarship. He has also studied composition privately with Dr. Alan Belkin and Dr. Agustín Calabrese.
He currently serves as Music Director at Navidalia, a large-scale immersive Christmas theme park in Guadalajara, leading the musical direction of one of its principal live productions. His conducting experience includes choirs and orchestras for musical theatre, film-music concerts, and other live performances. Alongside his work as a composer and orchestrator, he is the founder of Dorico Academy, an educational platform focused on music notation and professional score preparation.
